Professor New was so helpful to me. Following bariatric surgery my calcium levels had been gradually reducing. Spire arranged for me to have a blood test to check my levels which came back very low. Professor New agreed to see me at short very notice and did everything he could to help me progress with my care plan. He did a referal letter to my NHS consultant and also offered to provide the treatment at Spire. He was so genuine and caring, he was interested in what I had to say and didn't rush me at all. He has since followed up with me to check I had managed to arrange my calcium infusion. Overall I received excellent care from Professor New.

Being fat is often humiliating. Your moral failure for all to see. Prof New is an expert in not just treating the obesity but addressing the other factors that have contributed to it. I cannot recommend him to highly. He is an extremely efficient and competent physician.

Prof John New was introduced to us via a good friend who had known him for a long period and had been under his care he gave him a very good reference - we couldn't be more thankful He is excellent in a very caring way, he is very quick to respond, listens intently and his advice, aftercare and referrals are 2nd to non He succeeded in our care where others had failed
